The ten slopes of Pyhä present a challenge to everyone, but our Northern slopes offer a variety for less experienced skiers also. Skiing down the gentle Blue slopes you can easily get a grasp of this wintersport under the guidance of the professional staff of the Pyhä ski school. Huttu-Ukko on the other hand is an extremely demanding mogul slope.
The Northern slopes, which are the most recent ones added to Pyhä, also provide those with less experience in downhill skiing with an opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves.
In addition to traditional downhill skiing, Pyhä also offers excellent opportunities for other winter sports such as telemark, snowboarding and carving. The highly professional ski school of Pyhä gives instruction in these different sports and you can rent the equipment on site.
Pyhä cross country tracks are connected to Luosto altogether there is 150 km of groomed track. Part of the tracks are illuminated, so you can go cross country skiing even late in the night.
A magnificent experience is to ski around Pyhätunturi: the track goes through the National Park and is about 12 km long. Because of the National Park, this track cannot be groomed which makes it even more interesting and challenging.
