Our longer summer  tours and safaris are educating and challenging. We offer cookery, painting, and photography courses. You can decide to rent your own RV and cruise the un-crowded roads of Lapland (we can of course arrange this for you and any additional summer tours you may require). Join our escorted tour around Lapland, introducing Lapland’s beautiful scenery or join us on our cycling safari or our walking safari. Scenic Lapland – 8 days Finland and Norway.
A beautiful personalised introduction to the land of the Arctic Circle. Our tour operates with the minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 persons each week using a taxi. Your driver will also act as guide/chauffeur throughout your stay introducing you to the many delights on offer in this region.

Recreational Vehicle. 2-7 persons
Surely one of the most ideal solutions for any holiday is the combination of accommodation and transportation within one vehicle. This is particularly so in areas where the roads are totally un-congested and where there are many points of outstanding scenic beauty.

Cornucopia of colours – Painting in Lapland.
Min 10, max 13 participants and accompanying persons. This is the optimum number but can be operated for varying sized groups on request.
Based at the Flying Reindeer Lodge in Luosto our painting holidays of one weeks’ duration  cover tuition in the areas of landscape painting in watercolour, oil, pastel etc. The course is appropriate for all ability levels, the groups being small (10 to 13 persons and, if appropriate, accompanying non painting partners).

A Photographic Interlude.

Hiking the Nature Trails.

Lapland is governed by "Everymans Rights", which allows almost complete freedom of movement over all land - public or private. So walking and hiking are a popular pastime.

1 night tour. Min 4, max 8 participants
Those greengage summers of time past. Frolicking under the sun playing in the hay and enjoying the innocence of youth. A chance to re create those days as one may avail of our overnight wagon tour.

Recreational Vehicle. 2-7 persons
Here in Lapland we offer the freedom of the road and a very acceptable level of accommodation suitable for the number in your group. From the smallest party of two through to vehicles catering for up to 7 adults we have the recreational vehicle for you.
Following the arrival of your flight your vehicle will be waiting and comes fully equipped with bed linen for the number in your party and appropriate kitchen and table ware. A selection of maps to assist you in planning your routing are provided together with a camping card permitting the use of any camping sites along the way. With our inclusive arrangements even the final cleaning of your vehicle is provided and additional equipment includes the provision of a bicycle  and a camping set with table and chairs for additional recreational purposes. Your vehicle is strictly non smoking and a penalty fee of E850 is charged by the local suppliers in the event of failure to comply with this requirement. Back to top

Down Memory Lane
Late afternoon our party departs from the horse farm heading for a campsite where we build a traditional Lappish Tepee (Kota) for the night. Our beds will be made from hay and spruce upon which we will place sleeping bags. Here in this vast wilderness it remains light to late evening and during the period of the midnight sun it is light throughout the night. These are the relaxing times so missing from the hustle and bustle of today. Dinner is prepared over the open fire with the opportunities for campside sing a longs. Our campsite this evening is by a small creek, and we come equipped with gold panning equipment for all to try their luck. For sure there's gold in them thar hills of Lapland. This is sure to be a fun experience. With the coming of morning we’ll wash our faces from water in the creek, days-a-breakin' around the camp fire and after breakfast its back to the Horse Farm and our return to Luosto. Back to top
